Where to look
In the basement, near the front wall, in the floor. Outside, near the foundation, under a lid in the lawn. On a French drain, behind the house, often at the rear cleanout. If none is reachable, we enter through a fixture. That lengthens the visit.
Why we use it
The cleanout avoids opening a trap for work on the main drain. We unclog, we camera if the line needs it, we hydrojet if the pipe holds. The written report notes the entry point. See camera inspection cost.
Locating lines
